Winchell Gallardo earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2025. He previously graduated from the University of Tulsa with a B.A. in political science and music, and a minor in economics. In 2024, Winchell won First Place Brief and Third Place Team at the Hispanic National Bar Association Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition. Then in 2025 at the next competition his team advanced to the quarterfinal round, and he won First Place Brief again as well as Second Place Oral Advocate. He is a member of the national legal honor societies of the Order of the Scribes and the Order of Barristers. At OU Law he was honored with the David Swank Professionalism Award and Paul K. Frost II Memorial Award for his character and advocacy during law school. Outside of the classroom, he served in leadership for the Chess Club, the Latin American Law Student Association, and the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Law Society. Winchell was also Symposium Editor of the Oil and Gas, Natural Resources, and Energy Law Journal, where he was responsible for planning the 2025 Symposium and publishing the Symposium Edition. Prior to joining the firm Winchell worked as a law clerk at a large Oklahoma law firm, at a city attorney's office, with in-house counsel at a global manufacturing company, and as a licensed legal intern with the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System. Outside of work, Winchell enjoys hanging out with friends, playing grand strategy video games, and pampering his pet cat.
